Remove/Change search this site label in Drupal search form

In this article I will show you how to remove Search this site:
label from Drupal's search form. Drupal add search form to a site in two ways. One way is the theme's search form which is rendered by placing $search_box
variable anywhere in the theme's page.tpl.php file. And other ways is search form block that you can place to any available block region.

Removing label from theme's search form

First will will tell you how to replace Search this site:
    from themes search form.

Modify node submitted information, remove author name from post information.

In this article I am going to show you how to modify Drupal submitted information by editing your template.php file from your theme directory.

By default, Drupal's node info is shown like this Submitted by author_name on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 17:20. We will first change it to author_name on monday 06/05/2008 then we will remove author name and change it to Posted on Thu 6/5/2008. By doing this you will know the basic concept of this function.

How to include jQuery to your website from Google

There are several benefits of including jQuery from Google's server than including it from your own website. The most important reason is that you will not need to frequently download updates from jQuery website and update your files. Google will take care of this. You only need to specify major version of jQuery. See the code below for more details.

In this article I will show you how to make a rounded corner boxes without using images or javascript. We will use pure CSS2 only. However, some browsers

This trick will apply to all browsers including IE6 which is know as headache for web developers.

How to see available template variables in Drupal

Drupal's phptemplate engine has several template files and each file has several available variables. They are generally used printing their values. But, if you are bit more tricky, you can also utilize their values in various different approaches.

Viewing available variables:

There is a very simple PHP function to print available variables.

Code is:

<?php  var_dump(get_defined_vars()); ?>

Simple use it in your template file in which you want to see variables. For an instance, I did it on node.tpl.php and I got following variables:
